Rival X offers an engaging and straightforward gameplay experience for two players. The game revolves around creating strategic patterns such as The X, Plus, or Five-in-a-row. Each pattern, when formed solely with a player's X-pieces, rewards five points. However, the inclusion of Wild X-pieces in the patterns results in fewer points being awarded. The objective of the game is to be the first player to reach fifteen points.
